The Mission Information Line (MIL) is a bilingual telephone service for families and friends of Canadian military personnel serving in operations outside Canada. The toll-free, 24-hour service features detailed reports, on an automated system, about Canadian Forces missions and operations from around the world and provides the kind of assurance and support family members depend on.

During business hours, callers can speak directly to MIL staff for support, additional information or referral to other resources. MIL personnel are available to handle calls in confidence Monday to Friday, except on statutory holidays, from 8:00 am to midnight, Eastern Time.

The Mission Information Line complements the services of Family Resource Centres and Unit Rear Parties.
