The MFRC Volunteer Program is designed to develop and maintain a core of volunteers who work in partnership with the staff in providing programs and services for the community. Volunteering touches all that we do at the MFRC. Meet new people, build a resume, enhance your expertise or work with children and youth. A variety of volunteer positions are available and there is sure to be one suited for you.

The Volunteer Enhancement Program is a project that came about in response to our community volunteers' inability to access suitable and cost effective transportation to and from volunteer activities at the 4 Wing MFRC. Volunteering is often the first step to a new job, an introduction to a new residence or a method to determine an individual's assets and abilities. Seniors, youth and persons with disabilities that are looking to develop new skills, build on existing talents or be part of their community may not be able to participate in a volunteer program at the MFRC without some travel assistance. Volunteer drivers are recruited to assist with various programs and services which can include transporting individuals.
