The 19 Wing Family Centre is located at 1473 Snowberry Lane and is the home for Creative Kids Casual Child Care, Parent's N' Tots playgroup and an Infant & Toddler Day Care Centre.
Infant & Toddler Daycare Program (0 - 36 months)
Full and part-time care is provided for children from infancy to 36 months. Contact KCCC for fees and availability.

Parents N'Tots Playgroup (0 - 5 years)
This playgroup gives military families with children under 5 years old a place to meet with other families with young children, share experiences, interests and resources while having fun playing with their children. No registration required

Creative Kids Casual Child Care (0 - 12 years)
Children from infancy to 5 years old are cared for by qualified child care providers in a safe, child-centered play space. Parents may book for a minimum of 1 hour in 1/2 hour intervals. Please call Comox MFRC reception to ensure a space is available.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Cost: $4/hour per child

Saturday Play (0 - 12 years)
Take advantage of a 4 hours of activities for your children from infancy to 12 years old. Priority registration to deployment families until Wednesday, then registrations are opened to all military families.

Kinnikinnik Child Care Centre (KCCC)
Located across from 19 Wing Comox at 1405 Little River Road in Lazo. This licensed daycare serves both military and non-military families. KCCC provides year-round full-time, part-time, and drop-in care for children up to 12 years old.

French Immersion (full or part time)
Teachers use body language, sign language and visual props to help the children understand the French language. Children enrolled in the French Immersion program must be toilet trained and at least 3 ½ years old before they attend full days.

Preschool Program (full or part time).
Offered as a 3 hour or a full day program in English and French. The activities promote the development of fine and gross motor skills, language and social skills. In the afternoon children will take part in Kindergarten readiness activities, which includes circle time, show and tell, games and activities that require a longer attention span, communication skills and ability to take turns.

Before and After School Care (Kindergarten to Grade 5)
Children are walked to and from Airport Elementary School, a great help to working parents with school age kids. Special activities and scheduled fieldtrips are offered during elementary school colsures.
