The Edmonton Garrison Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) is a values-based, not-for-profit community organization with a twenty-year history of providing a high standard of care, support and services to Military families.  We provide inclusive pre-school and school age child-care, community outreach, deployment support, and community social work programs and services.

We are seeking:
Caring, committed, community-minded Board members to guide and govern the MFRC in its delivery of programs and services to the military community.  The Board of Directors uses a policy governance model based on development of policies and principles.  While not directly involved with the daily operation of programs and services, the Board is responsible for:
• Ensuring adequate resources are available to deliver programs and services
• Enhancing the profile of the MFRC in the community
• Setting and monitoring organizational policy and future direction

All in support of the MFRC’s vision:
to be the recognized leader in military family support.

We need your help to accomplish our vision
These volunteer positions, requiring a two-year commitment including attendance at monthly meetings in addition to special events and fund development.  Interested individuals are requested to contact the MFRC for more information.
