The EDGE Youth Centre exists to provide structured and non-structured programs, social opportunities and leisure activities for youth between the ages of nine & 17 of military families of the Edmonton Garrison.

The MFRC’s “Edge Youth Centre” is the place for military teens and pre-teens to hang out, watch videos, make crafts, use the computer station, play games and discuss issues that pertain to today’s military youth. We also offer pre-teen and teen dances.

The EDGE Youth Centre has lots to offer kids of all ages! We have a pool table; bubble hockey; foosball; air hockey; video games consoles (PlayStation, X-Box), big-screen TV, and a fully-stocked canteen.

All EDGE programming and events are fully supervised. We provide teens with valuable volunteer experience. We also have an active Youth Advisory Committee and teen volunteers who help out at many events on base.

There are many volunteer opportunities at The Edge as well as the MFRC for all youth. If you are interested, please contact our Community Development Coordinator at (780) 973-4011 ext 2285.

Memberships
The cost of a Membership at the EDGE has changed! The new cost will be $25 for the year ($20 for additional family members) with all memberships expiring August 31. As we are already half way through this membership year, you can get a membership for only $10!! What a Deal! For more info, contact Don (ext. 6324) at the Edge Youth Centre!
