Families are to meet at the designated reception point (either the Edmonton Garrison Lecture Training Facility or the Base Gym. Contact the MFRC to confirm).

The return flight information for Edmonton Garrison soldiers is available on the Family Information Line:

2. Press 1 for English or 2 for French
3. Press 2
4. Press 8 
5. Press 6 and choose:
   Deployment Support General Information;
   Deployment Child Care and Casual Care Dates;
   Upcoming deployment activities; or
   Roto 8 Redeployment information.

Family Related Emergencies

Emergencies (Family Related)
Be prepared to provide details of the deployed military member (name, rank, initials, service number)

In the event of an emergency at home, where you require family support assistance:

1. Contact the deployed member's unit family support section (FSS) directly.

2. If you are unable to contact the FSS directly, immediately call the unit Duty Centre. Advise them that you have a family emergency, and need to speak with a member of the FSS. Leave a telephone number where you can be reached. The Duty Centre staff will initiate a call on your behalf, and you should receive a telephone call back as soon as possible.

3. If you are unable to contact the parent unit FSS or duty centre, call the Deployment Support Group at 973-4011 ext 1915 or 1-888-711-5533.

After hours, call 973-4011 and ask for the Garrison Duty Centre.

Advise them that you must speak with a member of the EDMONTON GARRISON DEPLOYMENT SUPPORT immediately, and leave a telephone number where you can be reached. The Duty Staff will contact the Deployment Support Group on your behalf, and you will receive a telephone call from the Deployment Support Group as soon as possible. The Deployment Support Group will do whatever it can to assist in an emergency.
