Francophone Playgroup
This playgroup is an interactive program designed so that parents and children can have fun together and still maintain their Francophone culture. Playgroup provides parents, caregivers, and children an opportunity to participate in child development activities in a supervised setting. This program stimulates the understanding of child development needs, and introduces parents to the multitude of resources available at the MFRC. This is a partnership program with the Institut Guy-Lacombe de la famille.

Come join us for a Francophone Supper the last Friday of the month. These monthly supper gatherings take place in various restaurants in and around Edmonton for all ages. Open to registration for military and civilian communities.

Family movie night (EN FRANÇAIS)
Come and join us for a family movie the first Friday of every month. The movies will be viewed in French. Great fun for all ages! Refreshments and pizza will be served!

Accès emploi employment services
Looking for employment? Want to spruce up your résumé? An Employment Counsellor from Accès emploi will be available to help with the following services: needs assessment, résumé and cover letter writing, job search help, translation of documents and interpretation. The services will be offered in French on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Second Language Training
This program helps interested military spouses learn English in a structured environment. Placement tests are mandatory for new students ($35 for non military spouses).
When: Two evenings per week

Fee: $50 for military spouses (refundable upon meeting attendance criteria) and $100 for other interested participants

Online Second Language Training
This program helps interested military spouses learn French, English or any other language through Rosetta Stone, an online program. Online language training is to increase language training opportunities and to provide improved service to families of CF personnel.
