Join an interactive playgroup in the Gym where parents and children under 6 can play. At the end of each day, parents and children learn active songs and games.

Bilingual Music Circle DO RE MI (V)
Open to the Military community
Ages: 2 years and up

Cost: Free
Help develop your child's love for music and movement. This bilingual program teaches children French and English rhymes and songs. It helps them get active, be creative and make new friends! Healthy snacks provided.
Baby Play Time (V)

Cost: Free
Drop in and enjoy the company of other parents. Allow your little ones to socialize in a safe and happy environment. Expectant parents are also welcome.
Kids’ Club Respite Care
Open to the Military and Kingston community
Ages 18mths – 5 years (*exception for those turning 6 while in SK)

Licensed drop off care for your children 18 months to 5 years. Your children get to play and socialize with others, while you do your own thing. A healthy snack will be provided.

Registration is required. Preference will be given to families who have not previously attended this program. Returning families are welcome to place their names on a waiting list and will be notified of availability within 7 days of registration opening.
We will explore different types of transportation, how they work and the advantages/disadvantages of each type. A healthy snack will be provided.
“School Lunches” Parenting Workshop (V)

“Bookmaking” Parenting Workshop (V)
Open to all Military and Kingston community parents and caregivers of children under 4 years

Parents of children under 4 years will make early literacy resources to use at home with their children. A snack will be provided. Offered in partnership with Kingston Literacy & Skills Family Literacy Centre.
“Easter Eggstravaganza” Workshop (V)
Open to all Military and Kingston community parents, caregivers and their children aged 2 to 5

Parents and children work together to create Easter based artwork, song books and snacks.
“COPEing with Toddler Behaviour” Parenting Workshop (V)
Open to all Military and Kingston community parents and caregivers of children aged 12 to 36 months
Date: Thursdays from April 5 – May 24
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: KMFRC Board Room
Cost: Free
Registration is required. Childcare available upon request.
This 8 week course provides information about toddler development and parenting styles. Parents will gain an understanding of their own parenting style and how it fits with their child’s temperament. Parents also learn how to prevent and manage challenging toddler behaviours.
