Featuring Magical Mary
NINE WEEKS
Open to preteens 10-12 years
Date: Wednesdays, Jan. 11 – Mar. 7
Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Location: KMFRC Annex
Cost: $20 (limited to 9 participants)
This class is designed for students who want to take their art skills to the next
level. Magical Mary will teach techniques for incorporating water with pencils, pastels, and chalk. Students will also learn helpful art tips for future projects and how to take care of their art supplies.
Red Cross Babysitters Course
Open to youth ages 11 and up
Date: Saturday, April 14
Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Location: KMFRC Board Room
Cost $ 20
Participants learn the basics of caring for babies, toddlers and children whilst developing leadership skills.
“Active Parenting of Teens” Parent Workshop
Open to parents of teens age 13 to 16
Date: February and March (dates to be confirmed)
Time: 6:00pm -8:00pm
Location: KMFRC
Cost: Free
This workshop runs for six evenings and gives parents confidence to meet the challenges (and savour the happy times) of their children’s teen years.
