Military family life presents unique challengers to families, including frequent relocation and extended family separation. These challengers may require special attention to protect individuals and families who may be particularly vulnerable. Education and supportive community evolvement help to minimize the impact of these stressors.
Services available include:
- Education & Prevention
- Self-Help Groups
- Assessment & Referral
- Short-Term Intervention & Crisis Support
The KMFRC can provide brief counseling (up to 8 sessions) to assist with a particular crisis or problem that is affecting the family. This service is available for children, adolescents and adults who are affiliated with a CF member for individual and/or family therapy.
