The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC) is a registered non-profit, charitable organization that supports and enhances the health and well-being of the military community. The KMFRC is Kingston's primary agency dedicated to meeting the unique needs of the military community. Programs and services are designed to promote community development and to provide social, educational and volunteer opportunities, empowering the military community and enhancing their health and well-being.
We serve military members (regular force and reserve) and/or their families. The KMFRC strives to provide services/programs in both official languages in a confidential, accessible and professional manner.

The Art of Public Speaking
Open to KMFRC volunteers, Military Members and the Kingston Community

Location: KMFRC
This course is open to anyone who would like to learn more about Public Speaking with ease. Do you get concerned when someone says you have to stand up and speak? Let John Brown teach you how to make that fear go away. With more than 30 years in the military and more than 40 years teaching public speaking, he has successfully taught many people the joy of public speaking.

Family Movie Night (V)

Winery Tour

Cost: $38 per adult
The KMFRC is inviting all interested to join us for this year’s winery tour of beautiful Prince Edward County, where you get a chance to enjoy multiple tastings off some of the regions finest wineries. We will be stopping at the Waring House Restaurant for lunch; participants will have to pay for their own lunch. Due to the nature of this trip, all participants have to be 19 years of age or older.

A Day at the Ranch (V)

Join us while we enjoy ranch activities at West Winds Ranch in Westport. Admission covers the cost of one pony/horse ride, a farm tour, the petting zoo, barn yard games, wagon ride, toys and mazes. Additional pony rides, activities and snacks are available at a small fee. Please bring your lunch as we will be eating before we come back to Kingston. Transportation is provided. Ottawa Shopping Trip

Location: Ikea and Bayshore Mall in Ottawa, Ont.
Cost: $5 per person
Get your Christmas shopping done ahead of time. The bus will leave the KMFRC parking lot at 8 a.m.. We will shop at IKEA in the morning and then continue on to the Bayshore Shopping Center for lunch and shopping. We will leave the mall at 4 p.m. to be back at Kingston for 5 p.m.
Social Divas
Open to the military community
Every Tuesday afternoon from September to December

Location: Our satellite office at 11 Paardeburgh Place will be our main location.
Cost: Free
Enjoy the company of other military spouses while we adventure out to community events and tourist attractions. We will also meet once as a book club, do crafts and have mini workshops. Become engaged in your military and Kingston community. Each week we will either explore the Kingston area or have an activity booked at our satellite office.
