The KMFRC is a popular hang out for the under 6 crowd and their parents. With daily programs to keep little ones busy, the playroom is host to a number of different activities for military families.

Monday mornings start with Stay and Play - a drop in playgroup where parent and children can interact with others, while the afternoon is time to use up your energy. Tumbleweeds is a 2 hour program for those who like to run, ride bikes, play ball and more. Tuesday morning playgroup takes place in the gym – another opportunity to cut loose!  Tuesday afternoons and all day Wednesdays are devoted to our Respite Care. 

Kids Club is a licensed program for children 18 months to age 5, where – for up to 3 hours, gives parents a little break while their child enjoys crafts, stories and playing with others (please note that registration is mandatory for this programme). Thursday mornings and afternoons are drop-in times, with the evening being dedicated to an evening Kids Club.  Friday is our predominantly French drop-in and Saturday mornings are Kids Club time.
