Deployment, Departures and Reunions 

Deployment Support
Deployment support is provided to offer emotional and physical assistance to family members while the Military member is absent from their family on a continuous basis due to military duty.

Emotional Support

  • by providing ongoing contact with each family experiencing a deployment.

Physical Support

  • As needed, pre-deployment briefings to families of military members to explain in detail the services we offer
  • Pre-deployment package that contains information about the services available to the family
  • Videos and resources
  • Access to emergency childcare
  • Access to information and referral service
  • Various activities
  • Reimburse childcare cost when participating in MFRC activities (when possible) 
  • E-mail and Internet access
  • Free postal services

If the spouse of a deployed military member has not been contacted by the Moncton Military Family Resource Centre (MMFRC), please contact the Deployment and Program Coordinator, Kelly at (506) 851-7266.

Support to Reservists
The Moncton Military Family Resource Centre offers support to Reservists before, during and after in or out-of-country deployments.

The access time for a Reservist family is a period of one year following operational deployments within Canada and two years for foreign operations. During any of these deployments, the Reservist family will have access to the same level of services listed above.Mission Information Hotline
