We coach and support civilian spouses and youth seeking jobs or developing careers through a variety of programs, services, and resources. We provide a variety of resources, including:
- One-on-one counselling
- A career resource library
- Job posting boards
- Internet access
- Referrals to community programs, services, and schools
- Introduction to the internet/computers/software

Portfolio Development
A certified Portfolio Development course focuses on assisting people who are experiencing career change, transition or unemployment. This unique learning experience is designed to renew an appreciation of who you are, what you have accomplished and where you are going from here. In addition, it prepares you for the competitive job market and gives you a powerful tool for interviews. Childcare is available upon request for a nominal fee. Don't wait to register, spaces are limited.

Interview Skills
This workshop covers your two-minute pitch, how to make a good first impression, how to prepare for different types of interviews, how to handle difficult questions, what questions to ask, how to close, and post-interview follow-up. This workshop will give you the opportunity to practice your skills and get feedback.
Effective Résumés
Whether or not you already have a résumé, come and join us. You will learn about different résumé structures, how to present your accomplishments, how to summarize your experience, and how to account for breaks in your work history. We’ll also walk you through cover letters, thank you letters, and more.
Creating a Skills Inventory
Did you ever look at a job posting and wonder, "Can I do that?" We’ll help you identify and examine your unique skills while learning how to combine them to create your own personal skills inventory.
