Deployment Volunteers (Immediate Opening)
We are looking for volunteers to share their expertise and assist Canadian Forces families experiencing a deployment, facing an emergency, or needing assistance such as:
- Respite child care
- Transportation to appointments
- Animal sitting
- Meal preparation
- House cleaning
- Home and property maintenance
- Running errands

Training is provided to help you meet your volunteer requirements. This training may include emergency first aid, child/infant CPR, and general Internet skills.
How to Become a Volunteer
- Contact our Volunteer Services Coordinator for an appointment.
- Complete a registration form telling us information about yourself and your past volunteer experience, provide two personal references and consent to a criminal records check, and sign a confidentiality agreement.
- We’ll then attempt to match you with a position that you’ll be excited about and that will fulfill both your needs and those of the MFRC-NCR.
