A High/Scope Advantage to Nursery School
Our Kiddie Kollege Nursery School takes the High/Scope Curriculum approach, which means that we provide hands-on learning opportunities. Our team of Early Childhood Educators understands child development and how to best support early learning.
Philosophy
At Kiddie Kollege Nursery School we provide a positive learning environment that encourages your child’s development. Our principal objectives are to develop trust, independence, and initiative in children. This program recognizes the uniqueness of each child and promotes total development by addressing social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs.
Programming
Our programming encourages children to become independent, gain self-esteem, develop effective problem-solving skills, and become focused and task-orientated. We employ dramatic play, sensory experiences, literacy exercises, and creative activities to meet these aims.
Our preschoolers are introduced to various themes throughout the year, and we go on field trips and enjoy nature walks around the nursery school.
Promoting Literacy
To promote, encourage, and motivate young children to read, we structure our circle-time sharing, and reading activities with a corresponding theme.
