Lil’ Troopers Day Care is operated by the Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC) and is a not-for-profit organization that is licensed by the Day Nurseries Act of Ontario. We care for children from the ages of eighteen months to five years.

Philosophy
Lil’ Troopers Day Care strives to provide an educational environment where each child will feel cared for, respected, safe, and secure. This environment will nurture the development of each child through program activities that have been planned with the child’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development in mind.
Staff
The staff at Lil’ Troopers Day Care are Early Childhood Educators who are registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
Toddler Program
The Toddler Program is licensed for children eighteen months to two-and-a-half years of age. The program has space for seven children. There is one Educator per five toddlers. The Head Educator is Wanda Augot.

Preschool Program
The preschool program is licensed for children two-and-a-half to five years of age. The program has space for 24 children. There is one Educator per eight preschoolers. The Head Educator is Sue Leclair, a qualified Montessori teacher with High/Scope Curriculum accreditation.
