Shilo Community Centre is home to the Teen Centre, a drop in place for teens ages 12-17 yrs. Youth are divided into Tweens (ages 12-14 yrs) and Teens (ages 14-17 yrs). Visit our Facebook page
The Youth program is a collaborative program involving teen input and shared decision making. Teens are welcome to visit the Teen Centre or take part in special events such as dances, movie nights, guest speakers or participate in the annual Wake-a-Thon. Please check our event calendar for dates and times.
The Centre has a TV, pool table, stereo, video games, internet accessible computers and a variety of games. The Centre is fully supervised and provides a canteen for youth to purchase snacks and drinks. Membership is required for the Teen Centre.
The Teen Centre is also the site for the Teen Advisory Council, which is made up of local teens. The Council takes an active role in planning and organizing activities and special events.

Teen Centre Hours
- Monday/Tuesday / Thursdays: Tweens (12-14 yrs) 6-8 pm AND Teens (14-17 yrs) 8-10 pm.
- Fridays: Teens and Tweens 6-10 pm
**CLOSED for the month of July. August hours of operation are Tuesdays & Thursdays Tweens: 6-8pm & Teens 8-10pm**
