The Shilo MFRC board and staff understand the challenges placed on the education plans military families have as a result of postings.

For children and youth, CFB Shilo is part of the Brandon School Division and we are fortunate to have Ecole O’Kelly School located right on base. O'Kelly school is a dual track K-8 school with French immersion classes available for students in K-4.

We also have a French language school, Ecole de la Source that provides education from Kindergarten to grade 8.

For adults and individuals looking to further their education, upon your arrival to Shilo it may be beneficial to meet with our Employment and Education Coordinator. The Coordinator will provide service full time CF members, Class A Reservists, spouses and families as well as community members with any education issues and work on developing a realistic education path that will follow you throughout your partner’s military career.
