Embracing the uniqueness of the military lifestyle, we will provide individuals, families and community with a strong foundation while fostering growth, belonging and resilience.
The Shilo Military Family Resource Centre, established in 1990, serves the families of military and civilian employees of CFB/ASU Shilo and the families residing in the Rural Municipalities of Cornwallis, North Cypress and South Cypress.
The Shilo MFRC is a non-profit charitable organization that operates under the authority of a board of directors. The Board of Directors is composed of volunteers, the majority of whom are military spouses, elected by the community during the Annual General Meeting. A representative of the Base Commander, 1RCHA, 2PPCLI and the Executive Director of the MFRC also sit on the Board of Directors as non-voting members.
