Welcome Emails
We have just learned that you are being posted to St. John’s. You can expect a brief introductory email from us. We pride ourselves on the belief that first contact is so important and we look forward to getting to know you. We invite you to drop by the Centre on your HHT.
 
Welcome Packages
This package contains helpful information that will make your transition to the island a little easier. You can expect provincial and municipal maps, tourist and community information as well as important contact information.

Clearing In 
You have arrived! This process is valuable to the whole family. It provides us with the essential information that allows us to keep in contact with you. Families can best be served when we know where they live.

Welcome Telephone Calls 
Welcome to the neighbourhood! You can expect a telephone call within a couple of weeks of arrival welcoming you to CFS St. John’s. 

Welcome Visits 
Are you up to a visit from the MFRC? While this service is voluntary I encourage you to take us up on it. We can meet you in the comfort of your own home or go out for coffee – your choice! This is an excellent opportunity to get to know one another.

Warm Line Calls
We are happy to keep in touch. Maintaining telephone contact is an opportunity to answer any questions or concerns you may have. You can expect periodic evening telephone calls to keep you updated on what’s happening in your community.

Drop In Services 
The door is always open and the coffee is always on! We encourage to you drop by any time of the day during regular work hours. Get to know what we are all about.

Community Events
This is where we shine! Throughout the year you can expect activities that provide opportunities to meet other military families. There is something for everyone!
