Licensed Casual Child Care (Part time care)

This program provides military parents opportunities for relief, going to medical appointment, etc. You can drop your child/ren, ages 0 - 5 yrs in the preschool classroom for up to 8 hours every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 - 4:00 p.m.  We have one one infant day care available Monday - Friday from 7:15 - 6:00 p.m. this space is filled on a first come, first serve basis. However, we can only accommodate one child in this age group per day. We need at least 48 hours or more in advance notice to register your child for this program. There is a minimum of 4 children required for Casual Child Care and maximum of 12.

JK/SK Enrichment Program (Ages 3.5-6 yrs)

This program is for children who may be in a morning JK/SK program who need extra enrichment to challenge them or to reinforce prewriting and reading skills. A small group of a maximum of 5 children facilitated by Cathy Turalinski, Child & Youth & Parenting Program supervisor with over 25 years educating young children. Jolly phonics program is introduced in addition to pre-writing skills and enriched language opportunities.  An individual assessment of reading eradiness skills, pre-writing and language skills will be given to detemine the most effective activities that will best help each child develop reading skills.

This program runs from Sept - June and is offered the last Wednesday of each month. It runs from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Cost:
Military fee: $15.00 per session
Civilian fee: $20.00 per session 

Posting Care
Are you a CF family moving to Toronto this summer? Are you moving out of Toronto? Did you know you are eligible to be reimbursed u to $75.00 per day for posting care while you are moving for up to 3 days. If you have children, any ages, and need care for them while moving in or out, please call Cathy Turalinski at 416-633-6200 ext. 4312 to set up posting care for your family.

French Preschool Program
Your child will be immersed in the French language for three hours in a preschool play environment. This program is a structured program that includes free play, music and movement, art activities, outdoor play and circle time. It runs every Thursday afternoon from 1-4 at the TMFRC. Maximum of 8 children/Minimum of 4 children needed.

Cost:
Military fee - $15 per session
Civilian fee - $20.00 per session
