Orientation Package
On Sunday October 16th, 2011 you can help TMFRC to raise funds for our programs. TMFRC has entered as one of the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon official charities in the Charity Challenge portion of the race. There are several ways that you can assist us:
You can join the TMFRC running team and run or walk a 5 K race, a Half Marathon, or a Full Marathon – there is a distance for everyone. When you register as a runner you also register on line to collect pledges for TMFRC. We are looking for 25 team members to raise $400.00 each for a total of $10,000.00.
If running (or walking) is not your ‘thing’, you can still pledge one of the TMFRC running team and share with your own friends and relatives that they, too, can run or sponsor a runner.
On the day of the run you ‘cheer on’ the TMFRC running team by attending the race! As we get closer to the race date, TMFRC hopes to have a water table where volunteers can help to give out water and gator aid to runners.
