Volunteers – Much thanks for all your hard work and dedication to the many projects, fundraisers, ongoing tasks and planning for the centre. Please join us for our Volunteer Week Celebration. This is for you. The centre will be hosting week long activities and opportunities for you from May 30-June 3. Stay posted for the calendar we will send you and outline of excitement we have in store for you. Sign up for special training, workshops, guest speakers. Please don’t miss our Annual General Meeting June 1 7:00pm. At the end of the week we look forward to seeing you at your Volunteer Recognition Social, a time to socialize and meet all the amazing folks just like yourself! Thank you for everything you do!
Community Support & Donations
The Toronto Military Family Resource Centre is a not-for-profit organization offering critical programs and services to military families. Our work is currently funded by the Department of National Defence (through its Military Family Services Program), fees for service, and fundraising activities.
We need help from individuals, corporations and service groups to maintain and expand the scope of our innovative work. We’re currently researching ways to make it easy as possible for you to contribute to our programs.
Easy ways individuals can help:
- Volunteer at special events
- Write a cheque to the TMFRC. Whatever amount you can share will be put to good use!
- Organize a fundraising event on our behalf. Perhaps you would like to contribute the proceeds from a neighbourhood yard sale or a special get-together?
- Donate new (or gently used) toys and books for our Youth and Children programs. We could also use arts and crafts supplies for our Personal Development programs.
- Give special gifts for holidays like Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc.
- Purchase yellow "Support Our Troops" bracelets – all proceeds go to support TMFRC Youth Programs
- Buy other “Support Our Troops” merchandise – funds go to support our go directly to support our programs and services.

Easy ways corporations can contribute:
- Write a cheque to the TMFRC. Whatever amount you can share will be put to good use!
- Donate products (toys, books, Christmas presents, computers, etc.) or services (internet connections, shuttle, etc.)
- Organize a fundraising event on our behalf.
- Sponsor a particular program or event.
- Purchase “Support Our Troops” products for your staff team - sales go directly to support our current programs and services.
