Employment Assistance
This program has been created to assist spouses of Military Members and Reservists in finding gainful employment.
Personal Development
The Personal Development programs are offered to enhance all aspects of military family life. These programs provide individuals with opportunities to connect with others and develop their interpersonal skills and abilities.
Family Separation and Reunion
The MFRC recognizes the significant physical and emotional demands placed on military families as a result of deployment or extended duty, and together with 8 Wing and national military authorities, provide a number of services designed to assist those who are coping with separation for whatever reason.
Prevention, Intervention, Support & Francophone Counselling
This service assists family members in dealing with issues and concerns before they become a crisis. Assistance and support are also available in a crisis. In addition a Francophone Community Counseling program is provided in partnership with the Ministry of Community and Social Service of Ontario.
Youth Programs
For youth 6-12 years and teens 13-18 years, the MFRC works with youth, teens and community partners to ensure the provision of youth/teens programs which promote emotional and social well-being and which address identified needs. Some of these programs are: babysitting course, home alone, self-defense, bike safety and self-esteem groups.

Volunteers Corner
The Volunteers Development and Involvement program complements, enhances, and ensures the existence of services and programs at the Centre. Volunteer opportunities are available for both adults and youth.
