Hello!

My name is Audrey Gillis and I am excited to be the new Prevention Support and Intervention Coordinator at the Trenton MFRC.

A bit about me:

We were posted here from Gagetown and are settling in; I’m looking forward to the opportunity this position will give to meet more members of our new community.  I am a Registered Social Worker and have experience working with individuals and groups in various areas.  Some of these areas include crisis and suicide intervention, self-esteem, addiction, family violence, positive coping skills, anger management, parenting, grief/loss, healthy relationships, etc.

A bit about the PSI program:

The Prevention Support and Intervention program provides services to benefit the well-being of military families and enhance their quality of life; this may involve support groups, workshops, one-on-one meetings, self-help, information and referral, etc.

This program is not about me and what I want to do – it is about you and your families.  So please let me know what would be most helpful to you or what you would most enjoy.  Whether it is something the program offered in the past that you really enjoyed and would like to see again or it is something new that you are looking for I welcome all input.  So please give me a call, e-mail, or drop in to see me to share some ideas or to just introduce yourself and say “hi”, I look forward to hearing from you.
