This drop-in centre provides structured and non-structured programs, social opportunities, and leisure activities for military youth in grades 7 - 12. It is a place for military youth to gaterh, watch videos, use the computer station, play games, and discuss issues that pertain to today’s military youth. With a pool table, table hockey, foosball, air hockey, video games consoles (PlayStation, X-Box), big-screen TV, and a fully-stocked canteen, it has a lot to offer.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR DROP-INS!
All Youth Centre programming and events are fully supervised. Parents are reminded, however, that during drop-in hours staff do not monitor the youths’ comings and goings. All youth attending the centre must be mature enough to handle limited supervision and behave appropriately. Anyone unwilling to respect and follow the rules will be asked to leave for the remainder of that day. If inappropriate behaviour continues, a parent will be notified and the youth may be asked not to return to the centre for a period of time deemed sufficient by the program staff.
Pool League
The Youth Centre is open from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Thursday evenings for organized games of pool. If you are in grades 7 - 12 and you want to learn how to play or get in on some competitive action, come join us! Youth Centre Drop-in programs and events take place in BP1 (trailer west of the MFRC parking lot, formerly known as the Teen Centre).
Gym Night
Join us for intramurals at the base gym twice a month from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Military Youth Committee
Are you in Grade 7-12? do you want to have a say in what goes on at the Teen Centre? The Military Youth Committee is a group of military and non-military youth that meet once a month to discuss changes to youth programming in the community. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Call the Youth Services Coordinator at Ext. 1246 for more information.
