A Word of Welcome
The mission of the Wainwright MFRC is to develop services, programs, and activities that strengthen family life as well as create and promote conditions that foster the well-being of the entire military community in the Wainwright area. The MFRC is a non-profit society which operates under a Board of Directors. Its umbrella organization is the Directorate of Military Family Services in Ottawa.
The MFRC recognizes the many challenges families face living in a rural semi-isolated community. Through our programs, services, and resources we strive to meet the service needs and reduce the challenges of our community members.
The MFRC staff is a strong team that prides itself on a warm, open-door policy. We have seen considerable growth over the past couple of years and through that growth we have learned that the extent of the programs and services available at the MFRC are only limited by the imagination of its participants and users. Ideas and opportunities for new programming are always welcomed.
