STEPS INVOLVED IN BECOMING A VOLUNTEER
AT THE WAINWRIGHT MILITARY FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE
- Drop by the MFRC to discuss volunteer opportunities and pick up a volunteer application package.
- Look through the package and fill out all areas, including what type of volunteering job you are interested in.
- Obtain a Criminal Record Check a Child Welfare Check.
- Drop off completed forms at the MFRC.
- You will be put on the volunteer contact lists corresponding to the volunteer jobs you are interested in. Any time a job in which you have indicated interest in pops up you will be contacted, at which point you may choose to volunteer for the job or not.
Wainwright MFRC volunteers are given the resources and tools needed to be successful. All volunteer jobs involve an orientation and continued guidance. The WMFRC also provides ongoing training to all its volunteers.
