Canadian Forces Member Assistance Program (CFMAP) and Bereavement Services
CFMAP and Bereavement Services is a 24-hour, 1-800 bilingual telephone service, available 365 days a year to a parent, a spouse, children/step children, a fiancé(e), and any other person of significance to the CF member who has died while serving. You can access a professional counsellor by telephone from anywhere at anytime. An appointment will be arranged within a maximum of 48 hours. Short and long term counselling options are available and are free of charge. For more information or an appointment call 1-800-268-7708 or 1-800-567-5803 for the hearing impaired.

Military Family Resources Centre (MFRC)
In each CF community an MFRC is available to you and your family to provide assessment, referral and short-term counselling. Please connect with the MFRC in your community through FamilyForce.

Family Information Line
If you would like to speak to someone, you can call the Family Information Line (FIL) at 1-800-866-4546. By calling the FIL, you will be connected to friendly, experienced professionals who are well-versed on CF communities and services. Their counsellors can also connect you with helpful national and local resources, including your local Canadian / Military Family Resource Centre.
