FORCE Rewards FAQs

  • How do you determine reward level?
How do you determine reward level?
Based on the results of over 109,000 FORCE Evaluations performed between 1 Apr 2016 and 31 Mar 2018, thresholds were created to ensure 50% of the CAF personnel could achieve an incentive level. Approximately 34% could achieve Bronze, 14% Silver, 2% Gold and 0.1% Platinum.

Age and sex-specific scoring tables were updated on 1 January 2019 for each of the four (4) FORCE components to ensure a fair distribution of points. These four (4) components, each scored out of 100, are combined to make up the Operational Fitness, which is scored out of a total of 400 points.

Health-Related Fitness is scored on a 100-point scale, where predicted VO2 max (cardiovascular endurance estimated from the Intermittent Loaded Shuttles task, the measurement of your Waist Circumference and your sex) accounts for 75 points and waist circumference accounts for the remaining 25 points.

The FORCE Fitness Profile is a tool that provides you with feedback on your current level of Health-Related Fitness and Operational Readiness. This tool, along with the FORCE Fitness Profile Calculator, can be used to help you understand your current fitness level in order to help you prepare for your next FORCE Evaluation.

Claiming your FORCE Reward

  • How do I claim my FORCE Reward?

The PSP Fitness Staff or CAF FORCE Evaluators (for Reservists) will inform you during the debriefing of your FORCE Evaluation if you’re eligible for a reward.

Logon to the Logistik Unicorp website to claim your reward.

When claiming your reward on the Logistik Unicorp website, you will be asked to select, from a drop down menu, the Base/Wing/Unit where you would like your reward to be delivered. Your reward will either be delivered to your PSP Fitness Staff for Regular Force or to your Unit CO for Reserve Force locations.

  • What happens if I don’t claim my reward?
Your Reward will remain eligible until you claim it. There is no expiration timeline to claim.
  • What if I go to the Logistik website and it says I am not eligible for a reward?

If the Logistik website tells you that you are not eligible for a Reward it could mean a few things:

    • That you were evaluated on a DND279 and the incentive level was not entered on your MPRR
    • That you completed more than one evaluation for the year and the first evaluation was not Silver, Gold or Platinum. Only the first evaluation is eligible for a Reward unless the first evaluation was a failure.
    • There is a delay in data transferring from DND to Logistik.

  • What happens if I complete another FORCE Evaluation within the same year?

Your reward will be based on the first FORCE Evaluation you complete during the calendar year (1 January to 31 December).  If you passed the FORCE Evaluation, but are unsuccessful at reaching the required incentive level, you are not eligible for a reward. A CAF member may not make multiple attempts at the FORCE Evaluation in order to achieve multiple rewards or increase their score in order to obtain another reward.

The exceptions to this rules are as follows:

    • If you fail your first evaluation then pass your next evaluation and earn an incentive level you will be eligible to claim your reward.
    • If you perform your FORCE Evaluation in January and then are required to complete your FORCE Evaluation in December of the same year to avoid expiring and you earn an incentive level, you will be eligible to claim your reward.
