Marcelo Plada

Lieutenant- Colonel Plada has been heavily involved in Soccer throughout his lifetime. Naturally, since enrolling into the CAF, he continued to remain involved in CAF Soccer at all levels. As the current CISM Men’s Soccer Coach, LCol Plada embodies the fabric of the sport and remains an ambassador of the game sharing his vision of growth based on the principles of selflessness, mindfulness, and togetherness to our CAF CISM Men’s Soccer players and the larger CAF soccer community. As an athlete, LCol Plada competed at RMC and continued to play at the CAF Regional, National and International level helping his teams pave their way to success. LCol Plada was also a member of the Ottawa Fury semi-professional soccer league in the US Professional Development League where he continued to further develop his own skills. He now shares his knowledge and resources to help shape his players as well-rounded soldiers.
